Rotary/Mattamy Greenway
The Rotary/Mattamy Greenway is a city‑wide pathway system that turns an ambitious idea into a lasting legacy for Calgary.
Encircling the city with 145 km of connected pathways, it links into more than 1,000 km of existing regional trails, making it one of the largest urban pathway networks in the world.
Built through a $50 million collaborative effort between Parks Foundation, generous donors, partners, and The City of Calgary, the Greenway connects dozens of parks, off‑leash areas, playgrounds, wetlands, and recreation amenities that residents can walk, run, ride, and explore year‑round.
With multiple access points in communities across Calgary, the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway offers residents an easy way to get outside close to home, commute by bike, discover new natural areas, and enjoy an uninterrupted loop around the city.
